It isn't the time until we realize how important life is till death smiles at you. This is a story of love at the death site. In this monotonous life while pleasing everybody and in the pursuit of becoming the apple of everyone's eye, we forget to love the most important person “I”. This is the story of Ronak about how life was going to change for him.
Ronak was traveling with his friends in Maruti Alto. India's unofficial people's car, talking about his recent breakup, how his girlfriend now ex didn't give second thoughts about their marriage, how much he loved her, how he managed to attend her marriage, how his teaching life sucks though it was exciting in the beginning (Ronak is a professor in the history department) all those classic banter and bitching about life.
Suddenly came a flash of light as if coming straight from heaven. It was a truck coming straight towards them laden with stolen sand from the bank of holy Ganges. Ali somehow managed to pull the car over but in that pursuit ran over the embankment making the car rollover four times high in the sky ultimately landing on its wheel, what a miracle! At that particular moment when everyone was dumbstruck as to what had happened. Ronak called out "Book the Tickets, I'll attend the marriage". Initially, he didn't bother to go but those four turns of the car turned his life. And that's how I got to meet this wonderful person, full of life.
We met at the wedding function of our common friend at Jaipur. He came there on Day 2 of the marriage program. i.e. on the Mehndi function day, I was already present there to attend Ring ceremony, as I have already mentioned he was not about to come but after that road accident, he changed his mind.
When I first met him it was a delight, he was full of positive energy. I went for a handshake, he shocked me with a hug. The way he greeted and met people it was like they are known to him, he blended in like a family member.
For the mehndi ceremony, there was a dress code, we all had to wear green. Ronak was not aware of that but not a problem this new avatar had answers. He immediately went to the market to buy the dress.
It was fun five days getting to know people, how they think, how they behave, observing people how they react to different situations, handling problems, these things can only be learned not taught. When a bunch of people comes together there Is an amalgamation of thoughts, thoughts which have no start no end, it's just a process.
Have you ever wondered how good us humans are with our adapting capability? Within two days of my stay there, I felt like it is home to me as if I am living there for ages. Do you people also feel the same?
Please tell me in the comment section, and share your beautiful experiences.
P.S- Don't wait for the death to smile at you, ENJOY your life as if it is the last day of your life.
